About our coins

The form for the production of our coins is made by qualified engravers. Every coin undergoes several severe controls during its production – from the check of the material in the beginning to the check of the final product at the end. The quality of final product as well as the satisfaction of our customers are our main aim.

Travelers will be able to get coins from the edition ARTIC COIN only at the visited place (touristic information center). It will not be able to get them anywhere else. In case the selling place is closed and the traveler deliver a proof of really visiting the place it is possible to send him the coin via post in exceptionally.

The start list of places is not final we want to add some another places later on. We are opened the idea that travelers themselves would suggest new places and the final pick would come up from the voting on the web page of ARTIC COIN.

All places of interest will have theirs unique number. This system ensures incommutable of the coins.

On the front of the coin each place will have its image with its name. On the back side the map of Iceland will be placed with accurate location of the place.
